If we want our economy to grow and if we want new jobs and better opportunities the true meaning of Independence, then we need each Ugandan to do their part and make a personal contribution to national development and economic growth by choosing to add value and buy Ugandan-made products and services which can play a pivotal role in combating poverty, unemployment and leave a positive legacy and economic opportunities in communities.

Made in Uganda was born out of the necessity to address economic patriotism, working for a true state independence, creating Jobs, supporting local content at each single opportunity. Made in Uganda focuses on encouraging the nation to make personal and organizational contributions to economic growth and prosperity in Uganda thereby increasing employment opportunities and reinforcing national pride. We do this by addressing the main challenges faced by local brands and service brands including but not limited to poor packaging and branding, distribution and promotion, myths and misconceptions associated with local content among others.
